خطف 25 تلميذة في شمال غرب نيجيريا

أعلنت الشرطة النيجيرية، أن مسلحين من عصابة إجرامية اختطفوا 25 فتاة في هجوم على مدرسة ثانوية للبنات في شمال غرب البلاد فجر اليوم الاثنين.
وقالت الشرطة إن أفراد العصابة الذين كانوا يحملون “أسلحة متطورة ويطلقون النار عشوائيا، اقتحموا مدرسة البنات الحكومية” في ولاية كيبي قرابة الساعة الرابعة فجرا . وأضافت أن عناصر الشرطة انتشروا في الموقع، لكن “للأسف، كان قطاع الطرق المشتبه بهم قد تسلقوا جدار المدرسة وخطفوا 25 تلميذة من سكنهن إلى جهة مجهولة”.
وقتل أفراد العصابة أحد أعضاء هيئة التدريس هو حسن ماكوكو، بينما أصيب مدرس يدعى علي شيخو بيده.
وأفادت شرطة كيبي بنشر فريق يضم عناصر شرطة وجنودا وعناصر من الميليشيات المدنية، لـ”تمشيط الطرق التي سلكها قطاع الطرق والغابة المجاورة” بهدف “إنقاذ التلميذات المختطفات ومحاولة القبض على مرتكبي هذا العمل الشنيع”.
وعمليات الخطف مقابل فدية شائعة في نيجيريا، ذات معدل السكان الأعلى في إفريقيا والتي تعاني من انعدام الأمن.
وتنتشر في الشمال الغربي، عصابات تعرف باسم “قطاع الطرق” تهاجم القرى وتقتل وتخطف السكان.
